After my "as" are back to normal, more or less, I can present the giveaway that I had announced in previous posts. Little solidaria - Caring Little

Esta es una de las muñecas broche que más me gusta hacer, porque con ellas se contribuye a la investigación de una enfermedad que afecta a muchas mujeres en el mundo. En la pasada campaña recaudamos 50 euros, que no es mucho, pero suficiente para que cada una de vosotras se sintiera orgullosa y para que yo decidiera seguir haciéndolas.

This is one of the Littles that I like to make the most, because you are contributing to help in the research of an illness that affects a lot of women in the world. Last year we raised 50 euros, which is not a lot, but enough to make each of you proud of yourselves and enough for me to keep making them.

 

LITTLE PROFESORA - LITTLE TEACHER

¿Qué pasa cuando tu ordenador es tan viejo, que la batería no carga y sujetas el cable con un mando a distancia para que no se suelte?

Pues que a la mínima que te descuidas, cuando ya tienes una de esas entradas de la que estás tan orgullosa, porque habías soltado la parrafada del siglo, se te apaga instantáneamente porque no te fijaste que el cable se había movido.

Así que ahora sólo os enseño a la Little de hoy, porque la preciosa entrada que había hecho ya no me apetece volver a escribirla jajajajajajaj

 

What happens when your computer is so old that the battery doesn't charge and you have to hold the cable with a remote control so that it doesn't get loose?

Well, if you don't watch it 100% of the time, when you've written one of those blog entries you're so proud of, because you almost wrote the Blible, it suddenly turns off unexectedly because you hadn't noticed that the cable had moved.

So now I am only going to show you the new Little for today, because I don't feel like writing the beautiful entry I had written before AGAIN.

Aún convaleciente de mi "cuellitis", abro el blog para presentaros a la Little embarazada reeditada. Un homenaje a todas las mujeres que van a ser mamás. Y para ells, un poema:

MATERNIDAD
En tu rostro la sonrisa simple y la mirada dulce
con una alegría que sólo tú explicas…
Tu caminar se ha tornado lento,
como si hubiera temor en tus pasos.
No será un secreto cuando tu cintura
se ensanche y henchidos tus pechos,
con sabor a esperanza y a sangre nueva
en las nueve lunas de la larga espera.
Cambiarás el gusto entre las vitrinas
de algunas boutiques de moda y elegancia,
ahora tus ojos verán sólo aquellas
con sus diminutos ropajes de arrullo.
Un aroma a nido y a leche materna
habrá entre las sábanas de tu blanco lecho,

Caras de las Littles - Littles' faces

¡Buenos días a todos!

Siempre he querido hacer a mis Littles sin cuerpo, como muchas otras personas que tienen las dos versiones de sus muñecas. Pero siempre las hacía en camafeo porque no sabía cómo hacer una carita que quedase algo bien.

Hace unas semanas experimentando según los consejos de unas cuantas amigas de facebook, me salieron estas dos Littles nuevas. Son las primeras que hago, utilizando lo primero que encontré por casa, y sé que la cara debería ser un poco más color carne. Pero bueno, para ser las primeras no están mal. Lo único que para hacerles un poco de cuerpo y que no quedase sólo una cara, he puesto unos hombros pequeños y unos un poco más grandes. Aún no sé con cuáles quedarme!

Estas ya tienen dueña, pero seguiré haciendo más porque aunque me parece difícil, me gustó hacerlas.

I have always wanted to make my littles without a body as many other crafters have both versions of their dolls. But I always made them in a cameo because I didn't know how to make a face that could be ok.

A weeks ago I was experimenting following advise from many facebook friends and I came out with these two new Littles. They are the first that I have made, using the materials I found at home, and I know that their face should have a more fleshy colour. But, anyway, they are the first that I have made and they are not so bad. The only thing is that I wanted to make shoulders and I made two versions; smaller and bigger shoulders. I don't know which one to stick to!

These ones already have an owner, but I will keep on making more, for although it is difficult, I really liked to make them.

Hola a todos,

Esta entrada va a ser corta, (no es que las otras no lo sean), más que nada porque tengo el cuello tan rígido que sólo estar sentada al ordenador ya es ver las estrellas. El dolor me entró este domingo, después de haberme pasado todo el día haciendo adornos de Navidad de fieltro para el árbol. ¡La impaciencia!

Hoy quiero enseñaros una de las "Littles" que se ha ido a Italia. Todas son reediciones de "Littles" antiguas. Hace ya más de un mes que las hice, pero no quería enseñarlas hasta que no estuvieran con su dueña y tras unos cuantos problemas con correos y la aduana, ya las tiene desde ayer consigo.

This entry is going to be short, (Not that the other aren't) hehehe, because my neck is so stiff that the mere fact of being in front of the computer hurts like hell! The pain started last Sunday, after spending all day making felt ornaments for my Christmas tree. Impatience!

Today I would like to show you one of the "Littles" that has gone to Italy. All of them are reeditions of old "Littles". It's been more than a month since I made them, but I didn't want to show them until they were with their owner and after a great deal of trouble with Correos and customs, she has them since yesterday.

Sorpresa parte 2 - Surprise part 2

Ayer os comentaba la sorpresa que me esperaba cuando llegué  casa y hoy sigo con ella.

Yesterday I was commenting on the surprise that was waiting for me when i got home, and today, I continue with it.

Este es un Gato de gengibre que me hizo Rocky, que me conoce muy bien jaja. ¡¡¡Me encanta!!! ¡Cuando lo vi no pude parar de sonreir durante media hora!

This is a Gingerbread cat that Rocky made. She knows me well hahhaha. I love it!! When I saw it I couldn't stop smiling for half an hour!!

 

 

Estos son unos transferibles de gatos para hacer los días de la semna bordados. ¡En cuanto tenga tiempo me pongo! Además, ahora me ha dado por bordar jajj.

Y estas son unas tiras cómicas que me mandó Rocky que me encantan. Ayer no podía parar de reirme. ¿Y por qué me encantan? Porque salen gatos y perros jajaja, y porque son graciosas.

And these are some comic trips that Rocky sent me and I love them!! Yesterday I couldn't stop laughing. And you may wonder why I love them so much? Because they have cats and dogs and they are soo funny!!

 

 

 

Y este detalle me hizo tanta gracia que si sé cómo, lo voy a incluir en mis próximas cartas. La dirección de Rocky llevaba un gato!!

And this is a detail that I loved so much that, if I know how, I will include it in my next letters. Rocky's address displayed a cat!!

Este camafeo lo hice para una amiga a la que le encanta la montaña y el deporte. Al fondo aparecen las montañas de Asturias con la nieve habitual y a los lados un almendro en flor y naturaleza. Ella lleva la sudadera de decatlon que le gusta tanto y que hace destacar su piel requetemorenísima.

I made this cameo for a friend who loves the mountain and sports. In the background you can see the Asturian mountains with the usual snow on the peaks and to the sides, an almond tree with flowers and more nature. She is wearing the decatlon sweatshirt that she loves so much and which brings out her super dark skin.

Esta es la primera parte de la sorpresa, que llega con retraso por culpa de correos y de la fiesta. Una postal de Halloween de mi amiga Rocky y las otras postales son de Frances, su hermana y también amiga, que no sé si las había enseñado.
